Nottingham Forest have entered the race to sign Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow.
With their Premier League status still far from assured, Nottingham Forest are preparing for the future with the upcoming transfer market. The club have suffered a number of injuries this season, mainly in defence and midfield, and will surely be looking to strengthen these positions as a priority this summer.
The first leads and rumours are starting to emerge and one of them leads to a target that Steve Cooper already had last summer: the one leading to Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow.
The Swiss has played 25 Bundesliga games this season and scored three goals. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Forest have joined Newcastle and Arsenal in the race for his signature. He would certainly be an important addition for Steve Cooper next season if Nottingham Forest remain in the Premier League. However, it is difficult to imagine the transfer happening if the club drops to the Championship at the end of the season.
